ADD-Vance Support Groups

ADD-vance offer free support groups, workshops and training sessions for parents/carers of children with a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD as well as parents/carers of children who do not have a diagnosis but who may have concerns and want to find out more.

They are offering several free support groups for parents/carers for the second half of the spring term, with topics including sleep, Pathological Demand Avoidance and general support. To see details and book a place, please follow this link:

Sleep Online Support Group for Parents

ADD-vance are offering a free online support group on 24th February at 13.30 for parents and carers to get tips and tools to promote children's sleep.

This will be a chance to discuss any sleep issues and discuss strategies with Miriam Shabetai from their Specialist Sleep Service, and with one of their ADD-vance Specialist ADHD/Autism Coaches.

This session will be delivered via Zoom and is open to residents of Hertfordshire only.

PDA Online Support Group for Parents/Carers

Angels Support Group

Please find attached below a flyer detailing weekly workshops on a variety of topics, including understanding ADHD, EBSA and PDA, as well as opportunities to meet and chat, offered by the Angels group.

Free Online Support Group for parents/carers

ADD-Vance are offering an online support group for parents/carers of primary-aged children with a diagnosis (or suspected diagnosis) of ADHD and/or Autism on January 6th from 1.30-2.30.

This session will be delivered via Zoom with a maximum of 10 participants and facilitated by two ADD-vance Specialist ADHD/Autism Coaches. The sessions are interactive and are not recorded.

Managing Anger in Autistic children and those with ADHD - course

Families in Focus are offering a free online, interactive course over several weeks in January, for the parents/carers of Autistic children, and those with ADHD, either diagnosed or suspected. The course will focus on understanding children's needs, including sensory needs and improving emotional regulation.
