Let Grow - Because Independence is Childhood's Rocket Fuel

We are thrilled to be participating in The Let Grow Experience, an initiative designed to foster independence, confidence, and resilience in our students. As part of this programme, children are encouraged to take on simple, real-world tasks on their own - whether that means cooking a basic snack, running a small errand, or managing a household chore - helping them build problem-solving skills and self-reliance outside the classroom. By giving our pupils the space to try new things, we are helping them grow into capable, self-assured young adults. As well as finding inspiration in our newsletters and on the Let Grow website, The Smartphone Free Childhood IRL Explorer Passport is a free printable packed with simple, screen-free adventures for children aged 7–11. Designed to be completed mostly independently, it encourages children to explore, create, solve problems and try new things – helping them build confidence while discovering what they enjoy, what they’re good at, and just how capable they really are.
