The day began with a recap of how the Vikings came to settle in different parts of Europe. This was followed by a Viking quiz and a traditional Viking game called Foxes and Geese. The morning ended with Eirik sharing information and answering questions about various Viking artifacts.

In the afternoon, they took part in their very own spear wrestling tournament. They also learnt about other Viking weapons.

This was a wonderful way to bring the world of the Vikings to life; they thoroughly enjoyed asking our expert any questions they had, as well as it being a brilliant opportunity to consolidate their learning so far.
