The children were mesmerised by a range of activities throughout the day, from fact finding to spear wrestling.  

The day began with a History recap of the Viking’s time in Europe and how they came to settle in different parts of Europe. This was followed by a Viking quiz and game playing. In the afternoon, they took part in their very own spear wrestling tournament and ended the day with Eirik sharing and answering questions about various Viking artifacts. This was a wonderful way to bring the world of the Vikings to life; they thoroughly enjoyed asking our expert any questions they had, as well as it being a brilliant opportunity to consolidate their learning so far.
